“Pleased with the growing sales of its canned beers, Boulevard Brewing Co. is planning to make a huge investment to up its game within the next year.
“If everything comes together, our hope is to break ground in late spring this year,” Boulevard President Jeff Krum told the Kansas City Business Journal. “Our goal is to have this can line installed and producing cans by the end of the first quarter in 2018.”
The new canning line will create a few new jobs, but Krum said the Kansas City craft brewer plans to mainly have its production people work on the bottling line one day and the canning line the next.”
