Founding Principal
Greg Finkle
Greg is a founding principal of F+W and has over 40 years of experience in strategic planning, programming, and design for a variety of complex building types for both public and private organizations. He is a skilled communicator and consensus builder. Greg has a knack for gaining people’s trust and is always seeking ways to ensure each building solution reflects the unique mission and expectations of the client.
What does 'Design That Lifts' mean to him? "Design that lifts people up, either our clients, our coworkers or anyone else that interacts with the spaces we create."

Dave Williams
As one of F+W's founding principals, Dave has a hand in everything from project design to quality control. He helps guide projects through the finish line, making sure details stay true to the bigger vision.
Guaranteed to make him smile: Spending time with family and making his granddaughters laugh.

Alex Callow
Alex is a Principal at F+W with a knack for turning complex industrial projects into high-performing spaces. He brings together thoughtful, inclusive, and efficient design to create environments that support both the people who use them and the work happening inside.

Ana Barrera Carter
Ana loves designing spaces where people live, work, and connect. With a particular interest in mixed-use and office environments, she approaches design with human wellbeing at the center.
When she's not designing: You'll probably find her crafting, painting, or spending time in nature.

Anne Norgaard
Anne brings creative thinking and a sharp design eye to projects across a variety of industries. She enjoys finding unexpected solutions that make each project feel uniquely suited to the people and purpose behind it.

Austin Walter
Austin turns ideas, needs, and constraints into spaces that are beautiful, functional, and most importantly, buildable. He works closely with consultants, clients, and the F+W team to bring all the pieces together.

Avery is an emerging designer who brings ideas to life through construction documents and renderings across a wide range of projects.

Cameron Gilyard
Cameron brings experience across a variety of project types, with a particular focus on mixed-use design. Detail-oriented and creative, he enjoys designing thoughtful spaces that put people and their wellbeing at the center.

Carson Shank
Carson is a recent graduate from the University of Arkansas. As an architectural designer, Carson works on a variety of projects, but his current focus is in the industrial sector. In his free time, Carson enjoys spending time outside whether is playing golf, running, or fishing.

Ellen is a Principal at F+W with a focus on municipal projects. Her combination of technical expertise, design sensibility, and communication skills helps teams navigate complex projects and arrive at solutions that work.

Grace Mirakian
A University of Kansas graduate with a background in journalism, business, and design, Grace brings a little bit of everything to F+W's marketing team. She works across proposals, branding, and content strategy to help tell the story behind our people and projects.
Outside the office: She enjoys exploring new restaurants with her husband and playing pickleball with friends.

Graham Still
Graham's days are filled with thinking, drawing, designing, problem-solving, and emailing. Lots of emailing. Through it all, he helps turn project challenges into thoughtful design solutions.

Holly sees architecture as an opportunity to help people experience their surroundings differently, and to make those surroundings better. She creates thoughtful solutions that demonstrate how much the built environment can influence everyday life.

Jennavieve Caspers
Jennavieve designs interiors that make everyday spaces beautiful and enjoyable to use. From layouts and materials to lighting and details, she keeps the experience of the people using the space at the center of her work.
Ideal downtime: Going out for a morning coffee, spending time with her fiancé, and reading a good book while snuggling her cat.

Jesse Crupper
Jesse brings together design, detailing, and hands-on construction knowledge with a continued passion for sustainability. His approach bridges big-picture thinking and the practical details needed to turn a good idea into a great building.
Favorite place to be: His home in midtown where he lives with his best friend (who also happens to be his wife), three kids, and a handful of animals (that he had no say in getting but loves anyway).

Jessica is a Principal at F+W with a passion for ensuring every project lifts up the people who use the space. She pairs her creativity with an analytical approach, resulting in purposeful spaces that look great and work even better.
Favorite way to spend a day off: Thrifting, crafting, and spending time with her husband

Jessica Rice
Jessica helps people imagine what their ideal space could be, and then she works to bring it to life. From design research and space planning to finishes, furniture, and everything in between, she makes sure each detail contributes to the bigger picture.
Hidden talent: She can sing the alphabet backwards. Really fast.

John Gaar
John is a Principal at F+W with experience in everything from multifamily to public works facilities. He enjoys designing inviting spaces for people to live and work. Listening is his most valuable skills. John takes time to understand each client and shape the project around their specific mission and goals.
Hidden talent: He is really good at juggling.

Kara Bush
Kara is a Principal at F+W leading the interior design team. She works across everything from site selection and programming to space planning and furniture specifications. Her evidence-based approach keeps people at the heart of the process, creating spaces designed to help them feel comfortable and productive.
Hidden talent: Naming all 50 states alphabetically in under 20 seconds. Yes, all 50.

Kelsie Carnes
Kelsie is a detail-oriented designer, translating concepts into coordinated, buildable projects. Working closely with consultants and contractors, she helps balance design intent with safety, functionality, and cost.

Kimball is a Principal at F+W working on a wide range of project types. His positive demeanor makes him easy to get along with, and he uses his communication skills to bring the entire team together. Maddie Steinlage
Maddie leads F+W's marketing efforts, connecting the dots between strategy, storytelling, and opportunity. From proposals and brand narratives to digital and print content, she helps communicate who we are, what we do, and why it matters.
Out of the office: She enjoys exploring KC with her husband, cheering on the Chiefs, finding a good deal at the thrift, and getting lost in a good book.

Megan works alongside clients and consultants to design spaces that improve everyday life for the people and communities they serve. From the first line on the page to the ribbon cutting, she brings a collaborative spirit to every stage of the project.

Mike Dinkins
Mike brings a practical perspective to architecture, helping turn design ideas into clear, coordinated solutions. With a focus on construction administration and quality control, he helps make sure the details are executed as intended from the drawings through construction.
Favorite escape: East Rosebud Lake in Montana. Closer to home, you'll find him watching his kids compete in sports, working in his shop, or camping.

Rachel creates spaces that balance function, aesthetics, and the individual needs of each client. By keeping those needs at the forefront, she develops thoughtful solutions that feel specific to the people and goals behind every project.

Rebecca Roberts
Rebecca knows a building is only successful when all its pieces work together. She brings design, aesthetics, and a broad understanding of the many disciplines involved in a project to help make sure the finished space supports its owner, occupants, and original design intent.
Best way to spend the weekend? "Hiking in the mountains. The less cell signal the better."

Sophie Galbraith
A Kansas State University graduate in Interior Architecture, Sophie enjoys creating spaces where every room feels considered and every design decision serves the people using it. She brings a fresh perspective to making interior both memorable and functional.
Best way to spend the weekend: Catching up with friends, exploring the local food scene, or staying active with a group workout class.
