Olathe, Kansas

Finkle + Williams has been working with Countryside Church on a phased expansion plan for their building in Olathe.  The existing building is roughly 20,000 square feet.  The first phase will add 19,000 square feet of classroom and support space along with additional parking.  The second phase will add a new 1,200 seat sanctuary and fellowship atrium. The exterior of the building is precast concrete with glass and metal panels.

The emphasis of the design was to create key moments for people to gather, to improve the function of the existing plan, and to craft an exterior shell that is inviting to all. The design has paused while the church uses the visualizations to raise funds for construction.
