PARKS PROJECTS

BLACK HOOF PARK

This project consisted of the design and construction of four new facilities for the City of Lenexa’s Black Hoof Park. These facilities included a 4,383 SF large shelter, two 520 SF small shelters and a new 1,344 SF restroom facility. Materials included wood, steel and stone, and were chosen to complement the architectural theme of the existing park. The design for the large shelter included a complex steel frame structure that was designed to mimic a tree while complementing the surrounding park.
