The Nixa Residence was designed for a long time client of Finkle + Williams Architecture. The client was heavily involved in the design process from developing the concept through to the details. The home is laid out into three pods used to separate the main functions and create a large, welcoming space to entertain the couples children and grandchildren. Each pod was thoughtfully laid out and located on the site per its function, with driving factors such as noise pollution and wanting to frame key views in mind. Feature halls are used to connect each pod, offering a compressed transition from one function of living to the next.
