Converted from the old post office, 2020 Fit is a fitness oasis within Prairie Village. The new addition provides an updated façade with an entrance on the “back” of the building where the parking is located to reduce disruption of the surrounding residential neighborhood.  The walls are built to resist whatever is thrown at them (literally).  Each fitness studio was designed to maximize flexibility of use and can be converted from circuit training to cycle to golf fitness quickly between classes.  The roof deck over the addition has garage doors that open to an interior studio.  This was an innovative way to add fitness space since uncovered outdoor space was exempt from the parking requirement. A cooperative parking agreement was reached with an adjacent commercial building allowing opportunity to use their parking lot for workouts.
